Center for Economic Opportunity

Pioneer's Center for Economic Opportunity seeks to keep Massachusetts competitive by promoting a healthy business climate, transparent regulation and small business creation in urban areas. Current initiatives promote market reforms to increase the supply of affordable housing, reduce the cost of doing business, and revitalize urban areas.

Below are some links to recent media appearances featuring Pioneer's Executive Director, Jim Stergios, on the state's policy of awarding incentives to specific industries. Jim was interviewed on WBUR's RadioBoston, on February 8th ("State Bets on the Future of Industry") and The Boston Globe published his column on January 30th ("State's Focus is Too Narrow for Job Creation").
