This Week at Pioneer › Removing Barriers to Catholic Education |
||
|
On the eve of St. Patrick's Day, Pioneer Institute held an event on Catholic education in Massachusetts, highlighting its success as compared to state and national average student performance on standardized tests, and exploring ways to make it more accessible to working class families. The event featured high-profile speakers including Former U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican and three-term Mayor of Boston, Raymond L. Flynn, who delivered the keynote address. During the event, Pioneer released its newest education research paper, "Be Not Afraid": A History of Catholic Schooling in Massachusetts.
