Lest you think the nice weather and the Celtics parade might distract our public servants from their appointed rounds, the Senate found time today to deal with this pressing matter of public need:

The Senate adopted a Tolman amendment substituting S 2757 for S 2164 authorizing the transfer of a registration plate. The substitute bill was then ordered to third reading and engrossed as amended. The original bill directed the registrar of motor vehicles to transfer the registration plate numbered “454” to Munhall Fuel Co., Inc., 40 Summer Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
