		<description>i remember the minuteman opposition, too... great catch, that line in the globe article is a gem... i think there is something in human nature, which causes us to believe what we see from our back porch is ours, too.

look at what many abutters to public ponds and waterways do: the carve out boat launches, cut down old growth, etc. to improve access, and their views.

i have never seen a bike path (my friends live near one in tony barrington, ri) bring crime to a neighborhood. still, i don&#039;t blame them for being wary of any government plan.</description>
