Take It To The Bridge

Steve PoftakBy Steve Poftak
June 5th, 2008

The Longfellow Bridge is back in the news, but for all the wrong reasons.

Its still not clear if the bridge’s sidewalks will be deemed safe enough for the July 4th crowds. It seems that there is some concern about the sidewalks falling off.

And now the Red Line will be shut down for at least two weekends to repair damaged rail ties.

A tip of the pen to Amy Derjue over at Boston Daily for her zealous oversight of the structure.
