Following up on my colleague Liam’s groundbreaking manifesto against neckties, Paul Levy (on his excellent blog Running a Hospital), universally acknowledged as one of top managers in the city, notes that his hospital has a no necktie rule when the temperature exceeds 80 degrees. He even raises the possibility of an all-guayaberas workplace. I’m all in favor.
